Excel Truck Group is seeking an experienced 24/7 Roadside Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role will be based out of our customer’s facilities and will be provided with a fully equipped mobile repair truck and compensated for travel. Must have a flexible schedule for customers’ needs.  

If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required. Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Performs scheduled maintenance 
• Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.  
• Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.  
• Computer experience. 
• Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.  
• Performs other related duties as assigned. 
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork. 
• Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.

• Must have your own tools.
