Excel Truck Group, a heavy truck dealership specializing in Freightliner sales and service, is seeking a Body Shop Foreman as well as Painters and Technicians for their Weyers Cave, VA location.

Requirements:

• Experience in a Car, Truck or Heavy Equipment Body Shop/Wreck repair work environment
• Understanding of the estimate and insurance processes

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to supervise, lead and guide our Body Shop technician’s in every step of the wreak repair process. Leading our throughput commitment and customer experience.
• Capable of providing estimates for repairs and to partner with insurance carriers to insure the proper assessment of a repair.
• Promptly provide our customers with a timeline for each repair and addresses customer concerns and follows up with issues.
• Building productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications. Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening.
• Asks relevant questions regarding the repair and ensures that proper approvals achieved in advance. As supplements occur the Foreman ensures that this process is handled timely with proper approvals.
• Maintains open communications with our Body technicians, Parts department and customers regarding job/repair status changes.
• Assists with the communications process with our customers to ensure they are satisfied with the wreck repair provided.
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork among technicians and support staff.
• Assists Service Advisors when needed. Able to open and close RO’s and can efficiently manage the process.
• Experience working and leading in a Body Shop work environment is preferred.
• Computer Experience with a working knowledge of estimate software and other operating systems is ideal but not required. As well as Microsoft applications.
• Able to perform other duties and tasks as assigned that support the service department and dealerships.
