Excel Equipment, Virginia’s premier CASE construction equipment dealer, is seeking an experienced Rental Sales Representative to join their team and cover their Roanoke and Richmond territory.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer Development & Relationship Management:
  • Proactively identify and engage new and existing customers to promote rental solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide consultative guidance on equipment selection based on customer needs.
• Sales Execution:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed rental revenue targets.
  • Prepare rental quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.
• Market & Territory Management:
  • Manage an assigned sales territory to maximize rental penetration
  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and customers need to identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to represent Excel Equipment.
• Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and rental transactions in the sales management software program
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and rental agreements.
